Our Services

Former Foster Youth Supportive Services
Research indicates that approximately 20% of former foster youth become homeless immediately upon aging out of the system. Within four years, only half secure employment, often at minimum wage, and fewer than 10% graduate with a college degree.
A significant portion experiences food insecurity, with over half relying on food assistance programs at some point. Access to community support and essential life skills training is crucial for their transition to independence and overall well-being.
In consideration of these unique challenges, we employ a range of innovative solutions that are both adaptable and effectively utilize available resources to achieve your objectives. Our approach includes hands-on mentorship, access to gardening tools and supplies, employment training and tailored guidance to suit individual needs.
We also partner with local organizations to offer additional resources, such as nutritional guidance and mental health support, ensuring a holistic approach to personal growth and well-being.
By building a nurturing environment, we empower former foster youth to cultivate not only their gardens but also their confidence and independence. Through this supportive network, participants can thrive and build a sustainable future, one step at a time.
